In the early production meetings, the director said that she wanted two very specific elements in the lighting. She wanted very distinct areas of light and bright, subtle colors, especially in the world of Willie Loman. One of the most important pieces of my design was to seemlessly incorporate the real-world and the world of Willie Loman. I was very blessed that the director created areas on the stage for these worlds. In this picture you see Willie in one of his dreams talking to Ben. I used R3220 to create a moon-lit dream sensation, while also satisfying the director's need for a brightly-lit acting area.
